Lothar Späth awards the “Top 100” seal of approval to Spaleck Oberflächentechnik for its outstanding innovations management
Spaleck Oberflächentechnik honoured as a top innovator
It's official: Spaleck Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG is one of the 100 most innovative small and medium-sized companies in Germany. So say the results of this year's “Top 100” corporate benchmarking competition - a cross-sectoral business initiative covering the entire country. One key element of Spaleck Oberflächentechnik's success in this, the 17th year of the renowned contest, was its finely-tuned innovations management. Lothar Späth, former state premier of Baden-Württemberg, will present the prestigious “Top 100” seal of approval to Spaleck OFT at an official ceremony in Königswinter's “Gästehaus Petersberg”.

As patron of the SME initiative, he will be recognising the company's achievements in the five key categories of “Innovation-friendly Senior Management”, “Climate of Innovation”, “Innovative Processes and Organisation”, “Innovations Marketing” and “Successful Innovations”.

BUILT FOR SPEED
The new Spaleck DLT-240 Heated Cob Drier was developed for Users and Manufacturers of Flat Grinding Maschines.

The compact design, with a footprint of less than 1.5m, an convenient load and unload height can be integrated into straight line continuous automated production systems.

The DLT-240 is designed to meet the high production rates of flat grinding machines.

The DLT-240 unloads each flat part the same was as it was loaded from the previous process. The next step can be automated with 100% security of orientation.

Further developments in the field of coin blank finishing

Also in their classical field of coin blank finishing, the common efforts of customers and Spaleck engineers resulted in a new type of machine, the hot air drier SFT 25.

Though basically created for an absolutely residu-free drying of very fine surfaces in the minting industry, the SFT is also suitable for other fields of industry where sensitive parts have to be dried.

DL 1000 passes the test through
further development of an innovation!

Thanks to close teamwork with our customers our Through-feed Vibrator DL 1000 has been continuously improved and adapted to specific needs of all different industries.

For example, combined with the Hot-air-belt Drier BT340 and a positioning belt, our vibrator has been used to create a fully automated working line for a large manufacturer of automobile parts. 



In 10-second intervals all parts are entered via a feeding device into the DL 1000. It is here these sensitive items for the automobile industry are deburred almost touch-free within approx. 18 minutes. A positioning belt then passes them on to the drier, placing them correctly with the help of a light barrier to ensure optimal drying. After 10 minutes of hot air drying the parts are moved over to subsequent machines, again in 10-second intervals.

Now the full strength of the DL 1000 comes into play: each piece is passed over directly, making storage unnecessary at this stage, thus ensuring a continuous flow of material. The touch-free finishing process creates a perfect result, which is growing steadily in importance in the automobile sector.
