Pre-treatment in Spaleck equipment for the manufacturing of tubes
For a reknowned German manufacturer of extruders Spaleck built mass-produced treatment drums for the greasing of aluminium blanks with zinc stearate. The greasing of the blanks is necessary for further treatment steps.
These blanks are extruded into different kinds of zylindrical aluminium parts, for example: aluminium tubes, cartridges, sleeves, spray cans, etc.

Up to now the drums have been delivered in two sizes with a max. volume of 200 liters and 400 liters. Part of this equipment, delivered in a modular concept, are always two conveyor belts to transport and to return the aluminium blanks as well as two vibratory conveyors for feeding into and emptying the drum itself. Further, all machines have been delivered so far with a sound absorbing cabin to reduce noise and with a PLC control for a semi-automatic processing.

A deburring solution for the automotive industry.
As a result of a teamwork between a well-known automotive company and Spaleck Oberflächentechnik a surface finishing procedure has been developped regarding the deburring of stamped metal parts (steel, copper, aluminium).
Feeding and unloading of the parts had to be automated, at the same time considering highest demands on the surface quality of the parts. In this case customers parts boxes are transported via a special conveyor belt through the sound insulation cabin into the treatment machine, the parts are put into the roundtub vibrator VA 540 without any defects, thanks to a motorized transport system.

Fully automatic production at Shenyang Mint:
A new idea in coin production!
Again SPALECK has succeeded in one of its strongest disciplines - The treatment of coin blanks:
A fully automatid coin blank finishing installation Z 33 for the treatment of coin blanks of any kind of material has been delivered to Shenyang, China, and production began in September 2003.
After annealing, the blanks are freed from oxides and then receive a high gloss polish in the Z33, leaving them in a so-called "RSS" condition, which means they are ready for striking.
A direct connection between the installation and the central production planning, via touch panel and computer, enables the executives on-site to have the latest information at their fingertips; for example, the type and quantity of the produced blanks, the actual operation mode, the expected output, etc. Thus the SPALECK finishing installation is integrated in an automated production process of the highest standard.

Surface Finishing of large quantities of different workpieces has been simplified through the
combination of two giants....
Together with a large specialist in forming technology, Spaleck mastered a special challenge, namely, how to cope with a wide spectrum of very different parts in large quantities and with batches of up to 1 ton.
Up to now surface finishing has been accomplished in simple round-tub vibrators without integrated separation. The necessary manual effort was tremendous. Additionally, the lack of a recycling system of process water led to an enormous consumption of compound and water.
